Job description
The Optical Sales Associate provides support to the Optician with sales, ordering, selling frames and providing excellent customer service to clients.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greeting Customers
- Assist customers with selecting frames and sales.
- Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments.
- Assist Optician in placing orders and keep track of inventory.
- Maintain records of customer prescriptions, work orders, and payments.
- Instruct customers in how to wear and care for eyeglasses.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma
- Experience working in retail environment required
- Optical sales experience preferred.
Skills:
- Excellent customer service and retail skills with the ability to sell high end optical products and services confidently.
- Detail oriented and able to multi-task
- Must be polite, friendly and self-motivated
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
